Sarah and Enik were planning a "steampunk botanical" theme for a wedding set in a Victorian mansion, drawing inspiration for their decorations from his experience as a machinist and hers as an herbalist. His father, a machinist and blacksmith, provided gears and machine parts for her sister, a florist, to incorporate in stunning and unique floral arrangements that also included moss from their mother's garden.
A DIY package was perfect for this couple, who wanted family handiwork to shine on their wedding day. Pictures of their venue, Victorian advertisements, and a floral stamp Sarah found in a craft store for inspiration, and the couple's request to keep the design simple enough to make quickly inspired our design choices and custom rubber stamps. The bride and groom printed some of the text for their save-the-dates, invitations, rsvp cards, and custom maps on textured ecru paper, then stamped and embossed the decorative elements and key text that they wanted to highlight.
